IRON Press has published the first anthology of humorous verse to take into account new fashions in performance poetry. Included among the 61 contributors are David Bateman, Wendy Cope, Kate Fox, Linda France, John Hegley, W N Herbert, Julie Kane, Ian McMillan, Jacob Polley, Gail White and John Whitworth. The selected poems, picked from more than 2000 from throughout the world, are unpublished or were originally published post-1990. Subjects include the annual shindig for Greenland's literary elite, a paeon to a wonderbra, a knitted orgasm, Superman's pet lemming and a sonnet to a Yorkshire Pudding.
