Urbane but unsettling, these skilful random-rhyme sonnets are Peter Bennet's first publication since moving to the low-rise village of Shepherd's Quay, in North Tyneside overlooking the Tyne estuary.

Peter has published nine books and many pamphlets and lived for over thirty years in a remote cottage near the Wanney Crags in rural Northumberland.
